microRAD is a portable, battery-operated Radiation Survey Meter / Contamination Detector. It provides a fast and accurate measure of Alpha, Beta, and Gamma Radiation, covering a wide range from a few microrads to 100 millirads.

Key Features:

• The Pancake Beta Detector connects to the main unit with a one-meter cable.

• For Alpha and Beta Detection, the pancake window must be exposed by sliding the SS metal cap on the face of the detector head.

• Keep the cap closed when blocking Alpha & Beta and during storage.
• Do not allow dust or sharp objects to damage the Beta window.
• Slide the cap closed when the measurement is over.
• ON / Auto-OFF SWITCH: This is a press-to-ON switch. The unit will auto switch OFF when not in use.
• RANGE SWITCH: Press this switch to set the unit to the desired range.
