The Challenge
Reverse Engineering is a key element of any industry. In the era of MNCs in India, there is a possibility of the absence of a 3D model of the entire assembly. We were given the challenge of scanning and making a 3D model of a tractor—without dismantling any part.
Equipment Used
3D White Light & Blue Light Scanners can be used to duplicate or reproduce any part without the need for any drawing or CAD model. The output is in CAD file formats such as .igs, .step, etc., which can be used for machining or even CAD comparison.
